No support from tastecard
Tried to use Tastecard and the restaurant told me there was a cap and they could only give me a tiny discount. I contacted Tastecard after and they said this was not the case. They also (very politely, I must add) told me there was nothing they would do about it and if the restaurant owner would not reconsider then it is their right to refuse the tastecard and I was free to take any further action myself.

Wanted a plastic card as an app isn't possible
Wanted a plastic card as an app isn't suitable, was willing to pay for the card if that was a requirement. To be told by customer services that its not possible unless due to be linked to a cineworld account so i would have I take out some sort of premium account separately to get one? Bit double standards really. Closed my account as its useless

So many failed purchases and logins.
So many failed purchases and logins.
I rarely make negative comments as I feel it's unfair to rate a company on one bad experience. However, with tastecard there have been far too many problems, with failed cinema ticket purchases (they ran out of codes so the discount isn't guaranteed!) to failed logins to be able access discounts. Defeats the purpose of having membership when you can't use it when you need it

so far all the dine in for 2 for 1 have been good and no issues with booking. However, when searching for my local area there are a number of named places that are no longer open or have changed names and no longer take tastecard. For example Chatham Dockside quite a few are no longer trading there and Riverside Rochester (Strood) now called the Boat House. The website needs to be updated.
Do not sign up
My first review got flagged for removal despite it being nothing but polite and clear. I was even asked to provide screenshots of my twitter exchange with customer service. so AGAIN: Do not subscribe for a free trial to tastecard - the customer service is incredibly poor and you won’t be able to cancel. You will be charged for months on end and the app has little to no choice.

Easy to use.
Easy to use.
No issues at restaurant gteat value
Expensive
Unfortunately not the same sort of places to eat as in previous years and prices for cinema aren’t as cheap as they used to be?
Having to pay additional charges on top of subscription makes it less affordable…..
Online support excellent.
Wanted to use my NatWest Taste card but could not find membership number. Called 0345 number but during conversation got cut off!
Tried online chat and Levi sorted the issue very quickly and answers other questions.
Thank you Levi - I wish all online chat experiences were so positive.
